Our history

Created by the hands of Dona Amélia, a friendly Italian who arrived in Brazil in 1951 with fantastic recipes and a very original idea, the Restaurant has become one of the most traditional and famous pasta houses in São Paulo and also a milestone in the history of Arouche.

The commitment and dedication of the employees, many of whom have been in the house for more than thirty years, have won over a loyal clientele.

To have lunch or dinner at Gato que Ri is to participate in this history, to taste dishes that follow the production standards since its creation, as you will be able to see in our pasta factory, attached to the salon.
